Golfers Card

This is a birthday card I made for my friends husband that....you guessed it.....loves golf.  The card that inspired me I found on Pinterest and made by Julia which I had to have go at.  So I started with a linen textured green card stock from Blue Edge Crafts.  Then three more shades of green which I cut into wavy shapes, next I used my scissors to cut all the pieces of grass.  The putter I hand cut from silver card stock using my sticker tape roll as a guide for the rounded ends.  Cut a circle of white and ran it through my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I have attached the golf ball with the embossing facing down ....more like a golf ball.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Have a good one. :-)

    1. Thank you for the lovely comment. I think we all can do cardmaking but we all have our own techniques. You do beautiful knitting, so must have a bit of creativity. :-)

  10. A very good put-put card!! Thanks for visiting my blog. I had a spammer before your visit that wasn't very nice -- criticized my blog post -- said I didn't have enough photos, etc. My finger did the stomp delete! I guess it comes with the territory! Honey and I visited a historical cemetery today to take some photos for people at Findagrave. Do you know about that website? There was a request for photos of tombstones and I got everyone minus one (camera batteries died at a critical moment). The cemetery was so old that I think most of the tombstones have either been vandalized or are underground. So I'm tired. Hope you have a nice weekend, what's left of it, too! =0)

    1. There are some interesting people in this world, re: spammer. :-)

Off to have a look at Findagrave. Sounds like it would be an interesting day. Imagine all the stories hidden behind the tombstones. It's Australia Day today so we have a long weekend....then it's the start of the school year which means the serious start of work for the year me too as Teacher Aide. Hope your week is a good one.
